1983 Trail-Et Slant Load trailer – 50’ total length, 7’ nose, Semi Kingpin
– 8’ wide, 8’ interior height, 7’ interior height over the axles
– 7-8 years ago it was taken down to the frame and sandblasted. Any rusted metal was replaced with new. New .032 white aluminum was. Installed on the outside. New inch and a half treated wood floor was installed in the horse area with ¾” rubber mats throughout. New ¾” plywood 4’ up on the walls.
– All aluminum stall dividers with pads and padding on back walls.
– Dividers can be moved in 6” increments with spring loaded posts.
– When set up for draft horses with stalls at 48”, 6 horses on the floor and 2 above
the axles. Six feet of area
in back for tack or misc.,
or could put in one or
two more stalls.
– Fold down head doors, sliders on back side.
– 4’ wide ramp door in front for loading tack.
– Side ramp for loading horses or
can load through the back.
– 8Wx7Lx5H nose storage, 280 cu. ft.
– One piece fiberglass roof.
– New 12,000 lb. axles with hydraulic disc brakes were installed two years ago with less than 1,000 miles on them. Currently electric over hydraulic, but can go air over hydraulic.
– Air ride suspension with dump valve.
– 16” 14 ply all steel belt radial tires
